Supinated Grip Lat Pulldown

  1. Adjust the weight on the lat pulldown machine to a comfortable level.
  2. Stand facing the machine and grasp the bar with an underhand grip, with your hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Sit down on the bench and adjust the knee pad so that it fits snugly against your thighs.
  4. Lean back slightly and keep your chest up and your shoulders down.
  5. Exhale and pull the bar down towards your chest, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  6. Pause for a moment and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  7. Inhale and slowly release the bar back to the starting position, keeping your arms straight but not locked.
  8. Repeat.
