Step-Up

  1. Stand upright with a bench or bench-height platform in front of you, feet hip-width apart.
  2. Place your right foot on the bench, ensuring your entire foot is on the surface.
  3. Press through your right foot to lift your body up onto the bench, bringing your left foot to meet your right foot.
  4. Stand tall on the bench with both feet flat and your core engaged.
  5. Step back down with your left foot, returning to the floor.
  6. Follow by stepping down with your right foot, coming back to the starting position.
  7. Repeat the exercise for the desired number of repetitions before switching to lead with the left foot.
Notes

Hold weight in your hands to increase the exercise's resistance.
