Preacher Curl – Barbell

  1. Set up a preacher curl bench with the appropriate weight on the barbell.
  2. Adjust the seat height so that your armpits are resting comfortably on the top of the bench.
  3. Grab the barbell with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
  4. Place your upper arms on the bench pad, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  5. Exhale and curl the barbell up towards your shoulders, keeping your upper arms stationary.
  6. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing your biceps.
  7. Inhale and slowly lower the barbell back down to the starting position.
  8. Repeat.
