Box Step-Up

  1. Stand upright with a platform in front of you, feet hip-width apart. The height of the platform marks the difficult of the exercise.
  2. Place your right foot on the platform, ensuring your entire foot is on the surface.
  3. Press through your right foot to lift your body up onto the platform, bringing your left foot to meet your right foot.
  4. Stand tall on the platform with both feet flat and your core engaged.
  5. Step back down with your left foot, returning to the floor.
  6. Follow by stepping down with your right foot, coming back to the starting position.
  7. Repeat the exercise for the desired number of repetitions before switching to lead with the left foot.
Notes

Increase the platform's height to increase the exercise's resistance.
